Several hundreds of regional and international key industry players will meet in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from the 26th to the 29th of May to share their knowledge and expertise on one of the most challenging topics that will definitively set the priorities of their business agenda: “Strengthening the ASEAN Iron and Steel Industry for the Next Decade”. Matteo Tomba, PERT Commercial Director, and Silvia Cattarino, process manager at PERTEco, PERT environmental division, will be both speaking at the Conference, providing their innovative perspectives on a topic that draws the attention of decision makers at worldwide level. Mr Tomba will discuss how PERT has fully responded to the market requirements for innovative technical solutions, while keeping the operational costs as low as possible. “PERT Tailor-made solutions for the finishing blocks: 3 different typologies for finishing blocks, for 1 or 2 strand rolling” is the title of the paper discussed by Mr Tomba, who will introduce PERT wide range of finishing blocks for both rebar and wire rod, for low or highly elevated production capacity. With “The Fume Treatment Plant for a Steelmaking facility ”, Ms Silvia Cattarino will provide an overview of the main factors that affect the final choice of a Fume Treatment Plant, including the interaction with the Water Treatment Plant, and analyse how the so-called auxiliary plants are of crucial importance to assure operational efficiency, production continuity and high quality standards to the final product, while leading to considerable cost savings.
